What is this feature needed for?

The TASKS block is designed to manage tasks: creation, editing, bulk import, deletion, detailed view and interaction with task executors.

How does this feature work?

1. Go to the Tasks block in the main menu sidepane in Zegoal.

2. The main components of the TASKS block and their meaning:

2.1. Task creation button – when you click this button, the system will take you to the task creation screen.

2.2. Task display filters are used to speed up the search, as well as to quickly analyse the status of the tasks in real time. The main filters are:

User – allows the user to filter tasks by executors.

Date – allows the user to filter tasks by dates.

Status – allows the user to filter tasks by execution status.

Company – allows the user to filter tasks by company name.

Location – allows the user to filter tasks by location.

Property – allows the user to filter tasks by property.

Contact – allows the user to filter tasks by contacts.

2.3. Pre-set Filters – are designed to accelerate the selection of tasks. The list of filters includes:

Unassigned Tasks – allows the user to display tasks without an assigned executor.

For Today – allows the user to display tasks scheduled for execution on the current date.

For this Week – allows the user to display tasks scheduled for execution during the current week.

Completed – allows the user to display completed tasks for the entire existence of the database in Zegoal.

2.4. Menu button for bulk import of tasks from an Excel file – allows the user to go to the bulk import section.

2.5. A string for searching tasks by form name and task number – allows the user to search tasks by task name (the name of the task form) or task number.

2.6. Button for switching the tasks display view – allows the user to switch between the tabular view and the list view.

2.7. Tabular view of tasks display – in this view, the tasks are arranged in the form of a table. An example of calendar view is shown in the figure below.

2.7.1. Overdue task icon – this icon is used for marking the tasks that are overdue. An overdue task is defined as a task that had the following statuses at the end of the scheduled completion dates: Scheduled for Execution, In Progress, Pause.
